2007 Training / Test & Graduation Day
We have concluded our training this year for 2007. We had 15 new certified
drivers join the ranks of the great sport of snowmobiling. If you see them out
on the trails, Let's welcome them Snowmobiling.
Sponsored by the Hinckley-Pine City Flames, Minnesota DNR regulated Youth
Snowmobile Safety Training Classes are held annually. Check back in later for
2008 dates. If you have a need to get trained this year please contact us and we
will help you get into a class.
Students must be 11 years old by the beginning of the class. They may receive
their safety certificate at age 11, but it is not valid until they are 12 years
old.
The classes consist of eight hours of classroom and then a field exercise day.
A parent or legal guardian must attend the pre-registration to sign permission
slips for each student.
The cost of the class is $10.00 per student. The fee will be payable at the
pre-registration. The class will be open to the first 40 registered students. If
the class fills up and there is enough interest, there will be a second class
scheduled.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Bob Veitch at (320)
629-2211, or by e-mail at bob412@mywdo.com.
Students must attend all scheduled class time to receive their safety
certificate.
Even though this is a youth class, parents are welcome to participate in the
class and will receive a safety certificate
