The Hinckley-Pine City Snowmobile Club was established in 1982 to build and maintain groomed and marked trails, as well as promote the sport of snowmobiling in East Central Minnesota. Currently our trail system has 106 miles of groomed trails encompassing Hinckley, Beroun, Pine City, The Chengwatana State Forest and The St. Croix State Park. We presently have over 100 family memberships and the club is growing at a steady pace.
Meetings
Our monthly membership meetings are held the fourth Friday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Flames clubhouse located in Beroun. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The officers and board of directors also meet once per month. The Snowmobile Club also sponsors a summer picnic, fall trail work weekends, Youth snowmobile safety training classes and a holiday party for members and landowners.
Volunteerism
Many of our members find our club activities to be great fun! Each individual brings their own special area of expertise and interest, and we are grateful for all the unique talents! No task is too large or too small, from clearing trails to making phone calls to helping calling out Bingo to planning social functions. The Flames have instituted an incentive program for many volunteers. For all your valuable efforts, we sponsor an annual club ride. This has been become a highlight for many members.
With the help of chartable gambling, the Hinckley-Pine City Flames have been able to give back considerably to the local area, as well as enabling us to invest in quality equipment so that we can build and maintain the best trails!
